Admission Procedure
Admission
- Admission is made once a year in the month of October , 40 candidates are admitted in each batch
- Information concerning availability of forms for application is disseminated through the notice , displayed in the nursing school Notice Board and publication of advertisement in the local news paper.
- Candidates should have completed the minimum age of 17 years on or before the 31st Dec 2021. Upper age limit is 35 years.
- Female candidates who are unmarried /divorcee/ legally separated or widow without encumbrances.

Educational Qualification
- A candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from recognized Board established by law in India.
- General category candidates should secure an average of 45% or more marks in Arts/ Science/ Commerce
- SC/ST/OBC candidates should secure an average of 40% or more marks in
- The candidate should be medically fit.
- The candidates who appeared in 10+2 examination and their result are not yet been declared may also apply.
Basis of Selection
The selection of the candidates for admission to A.N.M. Nursing Course will be made on the merit of the Entrance test, counselling and medical fitness. All candidates have to appear for the entrance test.
Entrance Test
Entrance test will be held at 10.00 A.M. in Ursuline Girls High School Lohardaga premises on the stipulated date. The entrance test will be of two hours (2 hours) duration and shall contain objective type (Multiple Choice) questions. The medium of examination shall be Hindi and English. The question paper will have 100 (One Hundred) MCQ/ objective type questions of one mark each, short notes etc.
The test will be based on 10+2 curriculum of , Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and shall also include some items on English Comprehension and vocabulary, General Knowledge and Health and hygiene in order to judge the aptitude of students towards nursing.

Counselling
The written test will be followed by counselling. No candidate will be allowed to attend the counselling session without the following originals.
Original 10th class Mark sheet and Board Certificate
Original 12th class Mark sheet and Board Certificate
Original Caste Certificate, Residential certificate and Income certificate
Character certificates
Eligibility criteria for admission are given in the prospectus. Being permitted to sit for the written test or being called for the counselling does not mean acceptance of eligibility.
The provisionally selected candidates will have to undergo a medical check up at the St Ursula Hospital
Admission/Enrollment to the course
- Selection is subject to written test marks, counselling and medical clearance.
- The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the Nursing school Notice board .
- September 10, 2021 by 11 a.m. Each student is responsible to see selection list displayed on the Nursing School notice board. NO SEPARATE COMMUNICATON, OFFICE CORRESPONDENCE, TELEPHONIC INFORMATION will be sent by the Nursing School to the candidates.
Selection List
- Admission is based on merit.
- The decision of the selection committee will be final and no correspondence will be entertained regarding rejection or disqualification of the applicant.
- In the event of any dispute arising out of this admission process; the matter will be settled in Lohardaga jurisdiction only.
