Dear Principal, Faculty, Students and Friends,
I am delighted to know that the ANM Training Centre at St. Ursula Hospital, Lohardaga, is renewing its website. It gives me great joy to extend my greetings to you through this platform, the website of Ursuline ANM Nursing School, Lohardaga.
Our Nursing School stands as a beacon of service, compassion, and excellence in healthcare education. Rooted in Christian values and inspired by the vision of our Founders, St. Angela Merici and Rev. Fr. John Lambertz, we are committed to forming young women who not only excel in professional competence but also carry within them adeep sense of service to humanity. Since its inception, the Nursing School has been imparting value-based, quality education and training, preparing women who strive for excellence in nursing while upholding moral and ethical values.

Nursing is more than a profession—it is a vocation of love, sacrifice, and dedication. In today’s world, where the demand for compassionate healthcare is ever increasing, our mission is to prepare nurses who can respond to the call of the times with courage, integrity, and a spirit of selfless service.

I sincerely appreciate the dedication of the Ursuline Sisters, especially the Principal, sister-staff, and faculty members, who impart knowledge and values with such commitment. I also commend the students for their enthusiasm, discipline, and readiness to serve.

May this institution continue to be a place where knowledge is deepened, skills are sharpened, and hearts are nurtured for service. Message from principal

I am very much delighted to introduce A.N.M. Training Centre, St. Ursula Hospital Lohardaga, 835302 Jharkhand as a outstanding institute in the service of humanity from1972. This institute serves the humanity in health care delivery system in the hospital and basically in the rural area of Jharkhand in preventive, promotive, curative and in restoration of health. The candidates from all over Jharkhand are admitted for the A.N.M. training without any cast and creed. The ST. SC, OBC are the candidates who appear for the service. They are admitted on merit basis yet some consideration is observed for the economically and academically poor back ground for their up liftment.

The tutors are mainly religious sisters who are totally committed and dedicated for the brighter future of the students for the good results and clinical excellent performance. So we have 100% results all in flying colours. We also inculcate in the good qualities of empathy, sensitivity, and humane , that they are always selected for service for government jobs and in the private hospitals and nursing homes. We also imbibe in them the value of Christ , Love , compassion, tender care and forgiveness

I feel happy that our institution is a success in our mission and I am satisfied with the service we render to our students in the Nursing school and to the clients in the hospital.
